September 13, 2010

Turkey and America played against each other in the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship final in Istanbul yesterday and America got the Gold metal by 64/81 score.

Well, Kevin Durant put an outstanding performance really and noone could stop him, so he led America to the victory. He also got selected as the best player of the championship and he deserved it. It was like he didn’t even “try”, it was that smooth, his shoots were.

It wasn’t as an much of an exciting match as the one we played against Serbia. Our players were probably pretty tired because of the match the previous day. They looked like that.

I wish we could have win the Gold but Silver is also good. And Lithuania won the bronze. Congrats to you too!

And Turkish team’s coach, Bogdan Tanjević, we thank you for leading the team to silver. Even though he has cancer and needed to be treated chemotherapy, he still insisted to stay with the team until the championship ends.

And, We’re proud of you, 12 Giant Men!
